He is strong in math and loves learning and sharing interesting facts with others. He enjoys listening to audiobooks, spending time on his tablet/computer, and spending time with his family. Most of the support will be during his community classes, primarily to help if he becomes overwhelmed and needs to take a break from class. He is also working on becoming more independent with his ADLs, improving his social interaction skills and ability to engage in positive social exchanges, following directions with little to no additional prompting, and getting out into the community. The ideal DSP will be patient, attentive, and encouraging, able to keep him within eyesight at all times, share similar interests, and be comfortable being just as active with physical activities as he is.
