33 year old female in Banks (7 miles past Forest Grove) is looking for help Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, and/or Sundays for a day shift starting at 8am–12 noon, with the possibility of longer hours. She is an amazing young woman who is currently bedbound, nonverbal, unable to communicate, and medically fragile. She needs assistance with clearing her trach, managing her feeding tube, changing her in bed, and companionship. Her mom will always be there to help support, as some tasks require 2:1 care. The DSP should be compassionate, kind, and vigilant in monitoring her vitals. They should also be comfortable talking with her even though she may not respond. The DSP will be nurse delegated and trained on all required tasks. While medical experience is not required, it is preferred if the person has CNA or medical caregiving experience. Public transportation in the area is unreliable, so reliable transportation and the ability to drive to work is preferred.
